According to an article from Metrotime, and translated from Google, EA is under a criminal investigation after they refused to stop selling loot boxes in Belgium. See, that's kind of a big deal since Belgium declared that loot boxes are a form of gambling and therefore illegal some months ago.
At the time of the decision by the Belgium Gaming Commission, those companies that fail to comply with this law could be fined €800,000 and sentenced up to five years in prison. I'm not really sure...
