The main problem i have is that with the last two patches is that my peformance has been ruined! Completely. I dont know what improvement there was suppossed to be but they ought to change it back because the game is now unplayable on normal settings for me!

Secondly they were really dumb to unveil the game like this with no details and only a rubbish quality video clip of a rubbish trailer. Nowadays people use HD trailers and these guys still think its 1995 when Windows 95 came out. What am i suppoossed to think by watching this trailer? Also why havent the graphics been upgraded? We have games like Crysis coming which will wipe the floor with everything else.

Although gameplay wise i am confident this game will be great unlike the rest that have alot to prove yet. That Quake game seems like a dumbed down BF game. maps designed with 24 players etc. maps also serving stronger single player purpose with story etc. Reminds me of the console BF in many ways but that was fun at least. Crysis looks nice but gameplay wise i have huge doubts. FarCry was boring in multi.

It can work very well. BF is using a human vs human scenario like KILLZONE(but on an equal footing). No aliens. Which is the right move. Also hopefully they dont make it overly futuristic. Hopefully it keeps the feel of a battlefield game. The soldiers look fine to me but i want to see a HD movie not some s*itty near unwatchable quality video. Look at Crysis they leaked a nice HD movie. I'd rather have planes and helicopter that look like themselves rather than from Terminator. I'd prefer something from the nearer future with cool looking weapons etc. but no lasers. Which is what it looks like.

LMAO, not much has changed with the armies, all they did was add India:

American-European alliance vs Pan Asiatic Coaliation (Russia, the Middle east and India)

Battles take place in North Africa (ie Middle East)

I guess it could turn out nicely, but from what I've seen in the movie is kinda disappointing. And wtf was up with mechs having those pansy-a$$ed miniguns? Anyways, with how current military technology is evolving, battles are being fought from farther away and with less detectable equipment. I am doubtful that there will ever be some 20 ton mech stomping around in a firefight (of small arms weapons, no less) with another mech 30 feet away from it. And for the LOVE OF GOD, GET A DIFFERENT NARRATOR!! That guy's voice is driving me insane!

Maybe they'll fix some of the core problems existing in BF2. Maybe.

personally i think they are takeing the michael with bf1942 so soon when they still have to finish bf2 patches etc and looking at the graphics on the trailer it looks the same as bf2 does. and they are makeing a big mistake with releasing it so early i think quake wars enemy territory will wipe the floor with bf 2142
