Allmost every player that has been around for a while feels shivers in their spines when they see the EA's logo on a good game (spore is the latest case), meaning that the game is good but it will have no future.

they should change their name or ppl will stop buying EA stuff just for reputation they created for themselves in their moneythirsty quest for power over every other company.

EA needs to remember, for ppl to buy products the publicity has to be good, not bad.

EA fanboy's or fangirl's are happy now because in their eye's EA can do no wrong and any problem that comes up is never EVER EA fault!!!!

Please note I hold no particular grude against any company I just want a quaility product and when there is a problem I want it fixed in a timely manner and not get any corprate double talk and if they give a release date I expect the product on time.

That battllefield 3 be a rip off, with only a update engine!!

Because if they not come with new mods like support lines, then I don't think i canne buy it!! because only a update engine is not enough for me.


also I'm afraid that EA gonna rush battlefield 3 and the same story will be begin over again, like bf1942 with patch 1.61 and know BF2 with patch 1.21

Do you seriously think they will be releasing a new engine for their new game? The next game will be compareable to Battlefield Vietnam: Same engine with a couple graphical overhauls.

Yeah i always looked at DICE as a company with integrity, that cared about making quality products and prided themselves in making games we gamers would like. In the long run, the business side of things will gain from that too, since gamers will be loyal to a good game developer and will buy expansions to the core game.

So sad that this has to end.

Guess I'll have to hope for an imminent release of Armed Assault.

Well, sometimes a merge is a good thing though with the way EA has acted in its Arrogance lately their cant be any good that will come about this merger. The building of BF2 series hasn’t been the cash cow I think they think it was going to be. Well it isn’t when it is so bug infested and with the merge we can only assume that things aren’t going well or something wasn’t going right financially with DICE to allow such a take over, which is what I see it as.

After all, they have made a whole lot of money, and idiots don't make that much cash...

If EA knew that this would put them in a bad light and cause everyone to boicot their products, they wouldnt have gotten into this deal...

I think this merge will be good if EA just sticks to their job and lets DICE do thier thing also. But I think EA will prolly control DICE and make them do what they want them to do which will mean games made by EA *shivers* But idk we'll see how it turns out.:)

There just do exactly the same as they did with trauma studios, the series is doom, as if it wasn't already with all these pathetic expansion coming out giving like 2 new features.

Heh...i heard a rumor that the next expansion might include new vehicles.
I mean, not like in Euro Forces, the same vehicles as in BF2, just with a different model/skin.
They might even throw in new sounds for the vehicles too!!!

Second- Digital Illusions bought Trauma Studios Then became DICE
