very, very nice mod. the choppers have aa missiles. since i am a chopper ho, this is welcomed. there is anti-base raping "wasp defence" guns. this is not good for the choppers, but is ok with me as i do not rape with any regularity. i like the plethora of aerial vehicles. the map "deset rats" is pretty good too.

*********yes, only install their maps for this mod**********

I did intially copy my regular BF2 maps into the NAW levels folder before i realised that you used custom maps.I have since replaced these but there are still a couple of reg BF2 maps in the NAW folder....I take it that these can in no way be the cause of any problems?I hope i can get this to work at some point as it looks interesting.Cheers MadSlob

I played Desert_Rats(aka El Alamein) and I had a blast...It felt very much like DC, hell lot of fun, even with 4 people in total

Are you guys serious? The Bradley DOES NOT have 4 laser guided missiles, it has 2 wire-guided missiles. I understand you make it 4 because of the fact that you can't edit models, and creating a new model is hard work. (But hey, we did it).

thing to understand is that its only a beta, the full working version will be out as soon as our moddler gets back from his hollidays/vacation this is meant as a playable version and the guys who make this mod are still learning and put alot of time and effort into it,there will be obviosly a few who disslike and like things about the mod and thats fine but dont knock another mod for trying,im sure you wouldnt like for some 1 to knock urs!

agreed. anyways, the jets are faster w/ a higher ceiling, which makes for a better experience in the jets. however, the wall you hit if you go too far startled me. but "desert rats" is a big map where unless you arent paying attention you will not have a problem. the choppers also drop like a rock if you lower your throttle for too long. it takes a lil time getting used to, but once you do it can be used to your advantage. it actually makes it harder to hover at a flag, but the chopper is actually easier to hover when high up (not sure if that is suppose to keep people from capping flags, but it didnt stop me). it's like it is sitting in a fixed position when you are a good ways off the ground... almost. i had a gunner that had no problem hitting targets w/ the tv or main gun. i had a couple of ctd's but i get those playing special forces or any mod of bf2, but not bf2 (weird). anyways, thanx 2 the NAW team for making this mod, it makes the game's replay value so much more attractive.

                                Hi Manx,
I have a confession to make.Somewhat embarrassing i'm afraid but my own fault so.......It seems that i downloaded ver 3.6(only just realised as i went into custom game option in BF2 and there under NAW was ver 3.6) and although i haven't tested it yet i am sure that there lies the fault.I got the link to the download from the NAW website.....On there it said that the filecloud Dl was corrupted and gave me a link to another dl site...Many apologies MadSlob
