  • Nations at War v3.7 Released

    The team behind the <a href="http://nations-at-war.com/index.php?option=com_frontpage&Itemid=1" target="_blank">Nations at War</a> mod have released v3.7 today. This new version features a boatload of changes. Here are just a few of the many changes:<blockquote>-Bradley Assault Vehicle - It comes equipped with a 25mm GUN capable of shredding them pesky INFANTRY running around & never again will you fear and curse the day you rounded that corner only to kiss an Abrams or type 98. The BAV also comes STANDARD with 4 Laser Guided Armor HATING missiles! 1 Hit from one of these bad boys will put a serious HURT on a tank, 2 and its CURTAINS and SCRAP METAL for that guy, all other vehicles, well lets just say I hope he didn't see ya! What!?! There's MORE??? How about room for 3, 1 turrent position capable of 360 viewing and SHOOTING (same as linebacker) AND 1 rear firing position that comes COMPLETE with its own m16 firring port.AND THATS NOT ALL, The BAV is AMPHIBIOUS! (Spell check isn't working!)<br>-WZ551 - REFITTED to battle the BAV, Only difference is the seating for the other 2 occupants, The WZ551 has a rear LEFT and RIGHT AK47 firing port.<br>-All APC's, Brad, Wz551 and Tanks will have CHAFF launchers added to the Smoke launchers.                 extract to your mods folder. Inside the NAW folder is an shortcut to start the mod.

                  Doesn't work. The levels are missing. I'm guessing that you have to manually copy all of them over into the Levels folder. I tried a shortcut to the levels but that didn't work.
                  I'm not too keen on the idea of having to add another 1.5 Gigs into a mod folder.

                    Thanks I just figured out how to install it.. could have gave us some how the hell to lol.. and I also copied the levels over.

                    My overall score of this mod is a 7/10. Due to just changing the colors of aircraft and adding what I thought was a laser lock thingy was just used to increase my view..

                        Don't mind new maps just don't feel like I should have to copy the same damn old ones for every farking mod. IS THAT OK WITH YOU!? Shiesh.

                          I'll actually try to be some help who feel that this is excessive. I just had a looksy at how other mods are doing it. They just don't copy the client.zips over, thus saving lots of space.

                            You only need to have the level's info/*.desc files copied over. The rest will be read from bf2 unless they are copied over to the mod.

                              Hehe I can tell its still using the Bradley Linebacker model...all skinning and coding but at any rate nice job guys..ill give it a try.
