Yeah, thats my biggest complaint...upon others.

If its for only a few maps and stuff, I think that we should be able to download that for free...kinda like what they USED to do in patches.

LMFAO, EA you need to just GIVE us more maps. IE what Qauke 4 just did for their community for christmas and I KNOW that more ppl bought BF2 than did Quake 4. Come on you can afford it, dish some maps out for FREE!

Yes, and you need to understand that Dice needs money in order to do things like create that extra content.

The game was really, Already balanced. Every side may have had their cons/pros (like americans having slightly better long range weapons, but the others having slightly better close range). For the most part, everything is balanced. If there is any issues for some maps it would be that there is (in vanilla BF2) too many base rapers in planes.

Stop complaining, We did get a finished product. The reason we have half these problems is because people take advantage of things that were made to make the game more fun (like the TK system...). For the TK system, do you really want to go back to BF1942 where people kept killing you if you even got close to "their" planes?

You know what? You guys keep calling EA/Dice greedy, but I really think it's you guys wanting the free stuff who's greedy. You guys remind me of lil kids in a store asking their moms for "that toy" because the ones they have aren't "good enough" anymore.

If EA and Dice by association show that they don't care about the public enough, then they will lose money in the long run.

Giving free content will help their standing, thereby helping their sales.

If the game was so perfect when it came out, it wouldn't have needed so many patches already, and all the ones that are to come. The Battlefield series has needed constant patching to fix the bugs, etc. Those of us who buy the games when they first come out, have to deal with the crap before the patches.

Instead of working on crappy expansions, they should be working on fixing all the bugs, making things balanced(If you used the G3a3 when it bf2 first came out, maybe even still because I havn't played for a while, you are very much handicapped against AK wielders). Its not horribly unbalanced, but it needs work.

I will complain, because in this day and age, games have certain expectations. We expect most games, especially the Battlefield series, to have decent modding capabilities. Thats what draws a large part of the game's fanbase, and a lot of us bought the game expecting mod support.

I think the TK system should be revamped. There should be the ability to votekick people, and there should be a score that shows how many TK's someone has committed(as opposed to points just being detracted). If people don't votekick the person, admins can kick them. If the server has no admins, and turns off votekicking, its a bad server.

We don't want free stuff. We want more for our money. We didn't get BF2 for free, and we bought it with expectations. Most of them have been fulfilled, somewhat. I don't know about all others, but I expected at least some content patching, as bf1942 had. I know they are going to make expansions, we all did, and I didn't say anything about SF, because I knew they were going to put out a crappy expansion. These booster packs are an affront, however, and they are really what is greedy.

hahahahahahahahahaha thts is what i have been thinking all this thread lol cant expect children to know these things i guess lol... over here it is called a visa debit card and freakin any1 can get one... not sure what its called where you are... but i know i got one somewhere around here lol... now hopefully there will be no more noobs complaining about not having a credit crd lol...

It's just bs excuses for them to make more money off a very simple game.

ONE gameplay mode and about 5-7 maps TOTAL for a ****ing full-price game? Like that wasn't bad enough.

UT 2004 has like what? Around 50 maps, 50 models, a ton of weapons, vehicles a ton of game modes + free expansion packs that brought those numbers even higher, all for the price of a regular game.

I'm simply responding to his post. I don't know any which way I am responding, I am simply saying what I would like from EA/Dice, and my reasons.

If the only people who posted on this forum were people who were happy with everything, then there would be a miniscule percent of the people here who would post. Most people dislike certain things.

Amazing how some companies release games for free like Halo Zero which is 100% free.

Or that Army game made by the U.S.A. army which is a large game and is free. But no EA charges us for crap.. And the worst part of most of you defend EA.. Do they invite you to their parties? Do they say thanks for the support heres a $20 gift card? NO!
