Re: Two BF2 'Booster Packs' Announced
BF2-SF didn't have any huge bugs.... What your getting from the lag is your computer can't handle the shadding and all the textures at once. See, with SF, they used lighting/shadding ALOT... which slows your computer. It's not a bug. An easy way to fix this is to either A- turn down your settings to the lowest until you find a nice proforming speed or B- go out and buy a new GPU. Don't expect a patch to be able to do much with the "frame rate issue" as it's your own computers fault.
I have not once ran into any bugs during BF2-SF... I ran into MORE when i played BF2. Now, I don't think i've gotten a CTD since i started playing SF (which was my biggest issue with the game). And they did a good job! Most people who have played it for more then lets say 2 hours can't go back to normal BF2.... It just isn't as fast paced and the new maps (more the most part... *cough* Iron gator blows *cough* the maps either keep up or surpass the original's)
All's im really saying is use common sense. Lag isn't a bug, just look at the maps and you can tell that they need more computer power to run because the shadowing and that soidlers are usally in the same areas.
