First MW2 Map Pack DLC Exclusive to Xbox 360 for Limited Time

As revealed in the GameTrailers video review of Modern Warfare 2, it seems as though Xbox 360 owners will have the exclusive right to download the first planned map pack for the game upon its release.

Only after a period of exclusivity will the PlayStation 3 and PC owners of MW2 get their chance to purchase the map pack.

Infinity Ward is releasing on 360 first to get the bugs our of the map pack. once the "exclusive" time is up (AKA theyve fixed everything) they will release the un-bugged version for PS3 and PC. Face it, most vids you've seen with glitches were on 360 anyways right ?

IW favors 360 more than anything else. They deny it harshly, but face it. PS3 owners had to wait one whole day for issues to settle (Veteran's Day). It doesn't help that Sony doesn't take gaming as seriously as they should either. The 360 is the ONLY system to have official pros playing on them. Sony refuses to make their own servers for the games on them; stating that if a PC doesn't need them then we don't either. Consoles are not PCs and shouldn't be treated as one. That is the ONLY flaw with the PS3. 360 has worse quality and better servers, while the PS3 has amazing quality and half***ed servers from the game company, in this case IW/Activision. Also you see no bundle, because Microsoft had payed IW to broadcast themselves on the 360, not be cause IW dislikes sony. There are actually less people on the 360 with capture cards, mainly because all PS3s can record with out a cap card (the bonus of being a multimedia unit able to be converted into home PC). More people record on a 360, because as said they take it more seriously. Now I hope I made this clearer for those who deserve a better answer than 2 years olds arguing.

To be honest, the servers should be great for the xbox 360 because we do pay for them, PS3 cant make online for free and have amazing internet gaming its financially impossible. Publishers already lose enough money on creating games for xbox and ps3 whilst charging the same price. Seems as PS3 has the "best-ever" blu-ray disks which take up way more money on the game publishers budget, hence more things being avaliable for the xbox 360 than the PS3. Also, i disagree with your statement about "360 has worse quality" it depends on your tv, i have a 42" plasma and it looks pretty good to me. I couldnt care less about recording gameplay if thats what you like doing then fair enough but dont not all people take games seriously but to show gameplay and new releases. havent you visited this site before? www.justin.tv

the fact of the matter is that infinity ward use the same servers to make the map pack so wat ever console the maps come out on the glitches will be the same on all consoles anyway cuz its a tear in the game detail made by the same people just modifyed for different consoles. its just that there is like 2 billion players on xbox live and not even half that on ps3 of pc thats why there is more videos on the net of xbox glithches and ps3 users dont know how to record a video on there console anyway and are too busy sittin in a wall killin noobs to actually have time to post a video cuz apparently sittin in a wall is better than goin to the pub of hanging out with mates mabey even gettin a job.

Your wrong actually. The PS3 has more exclusives that the Xbox in total. Well known or not, they are still exclusives.

You're all frick'n crazy!! Why argue about it? The game is awsome no matter what console you play it on. My household has both ps3 and 360 and we can't see any difference between the two.
If ps3 owners are so pissed off that xbox gets the map pack sooner and more dlc for other games, GTA4 for instance, go then go and buy a 360 and quit you bitching! That fact of the matter is that it's a financial decision on behalf of infinity ward, in other words Microsoft has paid big money for the exclusive earlier release. Seriously guys it's 2 weeks, get over it! And enjoy the already brilliant maps that are on offer.
