Keep it. You can easily disable it if u dont like it by using server mods. By removing a weapon/equipment item like the shield, it could really mess up some clan's strategies.

It always pisses me off when a bunch of people (I was gonna say whiny n00bs, but w/e) can't accept it as part of the game. VALVe is making the game, not you. Don't bitch about it and remove it from the server. I rarely play on servers that have the sheild, and I'm mostly a terrorist. It's a challenge and hey let's all admit... it's fun to use once and a while.



That goes for the AWP as well. EVERYBODY uses it. EVERYBODY LOVES TO USE IT. Yet it is still removed from servers. The only reason I'd ever play on a server like those 2 are because I'm already on the server, and I am 2 lazy to switch. The servers with it in it's name I don't go near.



Like I said earlier, they are making the game, not me. I'm not defending the sheild because frankly, it pisses me off sometimes too.



So whether or not you keep the sheild, make the right decision please, and ask the community. If the community doesn't like the sheild, boot it. I think that is the case overall, so do what you need to do.

I say keep it, I don't think I have used it since the first few weeks it came out... other than the occasional round or two I am saving money and find one on the ground... but I do know its allways fun to knife a shielder, take it away and we will lose that joy forever! :-(

I think the shield should be used as maybe a desperate attempt at a second round win if the CT lose the first. A lot of teams buy mp5's instead of ak's second round and i could see a 4 inch peice or metal stopping a 9mm bullet. but not a bullet from a damn ak or awp. i think that would make it more realistic and i would have no problem with it then. But personally right now i hate the damn thing

The Shield has been buggy and noobs always use it every round. there are like 11228394 bugs that let you have like 30 weapons. Because of the new cz shield model if you had the ability to shoot them in the legs if they werent crouching then it would make it more balanced but overall you should dump it.
