Shielding CS:S

I think they should scrap the shield its banned on most pub servers anyway.



Why not make this the csn poll you can get a better feel for what the public wants with 5000+ people voting.

Awesome idea. Keep the shield but make it destructable. Ts will waste time using ammo on it and their focus will be distracted while a flanking CT takes him out. Even still, its not perfect because once it is gone, the user is vulnerable.



Like Kevlar, the CT has to "repair" it after a round or two if it is damaged too much. Give it a visual number on the stat bar to let us know when it is near breakage.

Either fix it or remove the shield, doesn't really matter if it takes any longer, HL2 is nearly a year late.

Im not an awper and I can beat a shield one on one, but two or three shielders working together is way overpowered, and thats if no one is glitching.

Leave the shield. People could always go on a server where shield is banned if they dont like it.



Add like an option for disabling certain weapons on cs, just like the same way you guys did with the flash light/foot steps.

I know there is already a third party program that can do it, but can you guys just put it into your game.



For the awp delay, can you guys make like a draw sequence longer so it corresponds with the awp wait.



This has no relationship to the shield, but could you guys make a better built in media player that has a more user friendly interface or have a plug-in for other media players such as Winamp<i like this one the best>, WMP, or Real Player. I know there is such plug-ins as HLamp, but it would be better if it wasn't Third Party.

like ive said before, that is completely USELESS because u have to actually go into a server and see if its banned or not by buying it, just remove it or something, the shield splits the community as it is

Keep it, should be awesome with the new physics engine. You can't please everyone, but I think the shield will kick some serious a$$ in CS:S
