keep the shield, it's a good idea and also fun to use. the shield adds a little something into cs instead of just guns and grenades. it also gives the cts an option to use guns (for offence) or shields (for defence).

We should keep it. It is no big problem to me. I liked it because it gave me a challenge to get around the shield user. But It is kinda a problem sometimes but if it was up to me I would keep the shield but just make it not so like a wall. make it so some of the bullets penitrate through it or so or something to make it kind of fair fight.

I say boot it. It's hardly used from what I've seen so its disappearance from the game will hardly go noticed.

realistically it should be removed from cs 1.6 because it has too many exploits that probrably lie in the game engine itself. However, if it can be properly implemented without bugs in the source engine, then it should be kept for cs: source. It's a nice leveller for the cts IF it is used right and if it isn't used correctly (as in whole teams strategy) then its easily delt ith anyway.

Like everyone else said, just fix the glitches and let it ware down and be able to get shot through it. Then it would be perfect

Take it away. 1.6 is alwasy crawling with noobs, using shields in a corner. Hogging up our play time. Please take it out.

Keep it. It's Fun at times and can be very helpfull if you have a team that knows what there doing and you guys do teamwork

well if thats the case, Valve can make a new filter system to filter out whiny "no awp", no "shield" servers, and jesus, HL2 uses Havok physics and if ur boddy gets shot then u get shot, also: as someone says, update it to wear out so that it is not invinceble, or just take it out, cuz the community ppl who think their leet complain about everything...
