I thought CS:S and CS2 were two different things. I assume they still are, but CS:S is supposed to be an upgrade (eventually) of the CS we play now and CS2 was supposed to be a CS mod for HL2.
Is the statement I just made correct? I've been assuming it has for sometime now.
Anyway, I believe that CS:S should be free. In all honesty, if CS2 is to HL2 as CS was to HL, CS2 should be free too.
Can someone point out the differences of CS2 and CS:S to me?Comment

Hi,
I have a few things to say about CS: Source.
First, I think that the physics aspect of CS:S will improve the game visually but it might not improve gameplay that much. Think about it: if you get Terrorists blocking entrances and creating barricades with tables, chairs and other objects then the CTs will have a VERY hard time getting to their objective. Also, dust and debris flying off bullet holes or from explosions might impair the vision or line of fire of the Ts or CTs.
Second, the graphics will ROCK but I really hope that Valve allows users to tone down graphics so that CS:S can run on slow systems.
Third, I hope that the new CS:S maps that the CS team will put out won't be too massive. That might blow the fun aspect of CS, but maps that are a bit bigger or have better planned layouts would be good too.
Enough of the reasons why, I believe that CS: Source will simply ROCK and I really hope that the rumor that CS: Source will be available to people who buy HL2 is true.

WEll then all you do is shoot it until it crumbles. Not that hard.
