Valve, you messed up. Take a hint. If you truly DO listen to the community then you will change it back to the way it was. What was really wrong with it anyways? I did like the last couple of changes you made such as the terrorist no money if you save and the bomb timer thing, but you've gone to far to make this game horrible. NT.

Since they did mention something about the hostages in the interview, does anyone know if they changed any hostage related things? I don't play hostage maps, only CAL maps.

Overall, it's an okay patch.



The headshot graphic with the idea that now you know what gun was used is excellent...but the graphic itself with the hole in the skull is...ugly...and big...



The new radar serves its purpose excellently but looks like a cartoon or something. Could we get it out of 8 bit color and remove the black line around it or something?



I like the rounded score sheets and stuff, nice small change.



The crosshairs are freakin' huge now, though. I love the sniper crosshairs, but the normal ones are insane. The #1 reason I increased my resolution (in spite of slightly better texture quality and such) was to lower the size of my crosshairs. Now they're just as huge as if I was playing 640x480.



I agree with consistency...make it consistently SMALL, so when I lower my resolution, I still get smaller crosshairs.



I could probably learn to live with this crosshair thing, but it's thrown me out of the 'feel' of things. That and the kiddy radar look makes me feel like they're really appealing to the average age of 12-13, even if the game is rated M.



As far as the awp quick switch, it's only a problem with the awp and not with autosnipers. I feel it's welcome, as having an awp MEANS you run slower and have scoped vision. Stop switching to your pistol so much and use the awp how it's meant to be used.



What little awping skills I have (it really isn't my gun of choice) will have to be re-tuned to the new change. I'm used to the switching, every awper is, you essentially have to switch in order to be as effective as other awpers. But I welcome the fix.

This is exactly how I feel the only thing bad with this update was the crosshairs size.



Hey when I get the scope back for the colt you can have the AWP delay removed how about that? Ever since beta 6.5 The AWP has been the ruling weapon. It needed a nerfing bad. Im sick of watching matches where every single player on one team is using AWPS.
