i started beta 7. this reminds me when everyone bitched about when they changed the player models at some later version. nowadays i lmao @ why the hell ne1 bitched at the new models.

about ur questions with the cs 2.0 classic bar not showing up under 3rd party games, u have to shut steam off when instaling it or it no work, i learned that meself.

Quickdraw you're missing a very obvious point by going completely past the objective of gun fixes. You see in "video games" there is this thing called "game design," or simplifying that a bit for your "balance." It's rudamentary in game design that whatever the player has to sacrifice the most for, he should be rewarded the best for. The three highest priced guns in CS for the longest time were completely useless. This didn't use to be the case actually, as in early beta's the PARA and G3 were absolutly unstoppable. Well once fixes were rolled in they got nerfed and nerfed more, and the m4 and ak got nerfed a little less. Which bring us to now where the cheapest rifles are the only ones worth using (until the rifle fix which made my year btw.)



So long story... erhm ... long... These fixes are completely acceptable as they are fixes for the price of the gun. The solution to the para issue may be, in fact, to meet in the middle, basically make it slightly more accurate and cost slightly less. If the purchase can't be justified, it shouldn't be in the game. Period.



Hope logic calms you down, if not. Well... post another pointless list, I hear people love those.

now that everyone can play the betas, they can realize what u said is bullshit. the para was and still is crap. and the g3 was crap. what was unstoppable was the awp. and the m4 and ak recil were horrendous in the betas. the ak had worse recoil then in the betas. and anyone who doesnt beleive me can go try it right now. the para still had crazy recoil and the g3 had more recoil than now too. and the awp kills even if shot in the leg. so to conclude, mikezilla was full of shit afterall. taking advantage of the fact that i began in 1.0 and couldnt really tell if he was telling the truth...

i HATE this game. i only started playing at 1.5 so im not old skool but why would anyone wanna play this when 1.5/6 are available? the hitboxes are crap, the graphic are terrible, its less realistic, the levels are russish (cept the ones that are in 1.5/6 of course). a worthless download. suppose you could get a retro kick out of it if you were arround when the betas were out the first time but really not worth downloading otherwise.
