This is incredible! Just like the good 'ol days! I still remember when they added in that crazy walking animation, everyone went nuts! Your legs look like they are disjointed from your body or something!



Ahh, the days of wasting my $$$$ college education playing on a 24/7 Dust server all day long with a 157-64 kill count! Sweet, sweet memories *cries*...

perhaps ur right, i never played the actual betas, but i based my knowledge on the cs classic v2 and the 1.0 official release, and in those 2 games the para really does suck. maybe it was different back in the earl early days. ill give langames.net a looksee.

I still have an beta 3 on my old computer, sometimes we play that on an LAN. The para used be really good you would have whole teams go trough a map like terminators,thats why they made it suck i guess.

Altough allot of people bitch about steam, i don't think is so bad. Friends doesn't seem to work very well but the rest does at least for me =)

I'd agree 1.6's reg is much more consistent than 1.5, but I'm not sure if it's better than the beta days.



Imo it's the only good thing gameplaywise in 1.6 > 1.5 (maybe better auto-snipers too though)



Shot reg is a major thing though, if it wasn't for it getting better I probably wouldn't still be playing. There's still a problem with modemers/isdners and low raters though.

I have my Steam folder in Program files by the way.

WOW i sware every time i try do change something in the Steam folder, its extremely annoying. Valve really knows how to make things complicated.
