That's odd... because now the hitboxes aren't even aligned with the models and the netcode is worse than ever... What version of CS are you playing? In 1.6, with 0 choke/loss and 66ms, my shots only register 1/3 the time. Not to mention, all the guns they nerfed since the betas (pump, mp5, and deagle to name a few).



I guess you weren't old school enough to play the game when it actually worked correctly.

in beta, all you had was left handed models. i'm to lazy to find out if cs-classic has right handed models... argh

Eh, I'm not yearning for the days when someone would get a kill by shooting your toe off with a AWP.



The only things that make me not like 1.6 is the hitbox glitches, shots not registering when they should, some guns getting nerfed, and some getting too jacked up, and those lousy retail names.



At least it wasn't as bad as 1.1, remember the hitbox glitches in that one?

What's with all the whining about shots not registering in 1.6? Netcode worse than ever, wtf? You guys must be playing on crappy servers, or maybe your aim isn't as good as you think. Maybe 1.6 is different in the states eh?



Only thing they need to fix in 1.6 in this regard is headshots from behind, but as far as I know that's always been a problem

Still, it would be fun to see how different the guns are now.
