I was pointing out a lack of accuracy in the reporting... no disagreement that he shouldn't have had the weapon (regardless of type). Many times it seems to me that reporters go for descriptions that provoke an emotional response.

decent point but if guns were illegal then noone would be able too get em the only reason your able too get one so easily on the street is because some ppl/places dont follow the law and sell em out the back door but if the manufacturers could only provide them too law enforcement and military then no lil crack babies couldnt get one therefor a robber coming into your house would be armed with nothing

a couple points -



gooch, you own a gun though don't you? alot of the ant-gunners have one "for protection". One point for you, if we relenquish that constitutional right, the the next one to go will be your right to free speech. And who will help you defend against that? A crowd of angry rock throwers like you see in the foreign lands we are currently fighting to free?



Not much said about the Canadian teen with two handguns - handguns are illegal in Canada - someone will go to prison for that.



There are no restrictions to the type of rifle (as long as it's legal to own) that is used to hunt big game - as long as the caliber of round it shoots is legal. Where I live - and hunt - the round that the SKS (AK47) imports shoots is legal but is generally regarded as inadequate for hunting deer. By the way most of the SKS (AK47) lookalikes are horribly innacurate because they are mass produced in China and are very sloppy, so hunting with one is a poor choice unless it has been reworked by a good gunsmith.

It took several rounds to hit it in the brain but dropped like a rock when he did. It is obvious that many of you think the weapons in CS relate to their real life counterpart - ALL of them would be very lethal with ONE shot to the head or torso. The glock is a very effective handgun in every caliber it is offered.



Finally, gun safety training should be as much a part of our educational system as safe sex, drug and alchohol education and drivers education. All of them should be practised by MATURE people only.



I am a firearms owner, my teenagers have been trained to respect firearms and handle them safely. I'm sure most of you would enjoy a day at "the range" to learn how to shoot. If you get a chance don't miss it you'll learn more there in one day than you can learn in a year reading and watching anti-gun biased media reports.

you SHOULD be worried about your freedom of speech - it's in far more peril than you think - educate yourself on the patriot act and other new anti-terrorism laws currently being considered. You can conceivably go to prison for voicing an opinion that is counter to the "government standards".
