Installed it this morning. Sometimes it froze, i cancelled and tried again and it worked. All nice and dandy.



Now, where are the bots????????? I didnt search much, but I couldnt find them anywhere. Nooooooooooo!!!!

unfortunately (again) you ahve to be playing the game to find out (so I understand, correct me if i'm wrong). you type status into the console, and that should tell you.

the guns: i dont know why, but i read in change logs or somewhere somthing about them fixing the names so that they are like that. It may change if the CD key it found on your computer was for like platinum edition and it assumes you got cs that way, not the mod.

Unfortunately, i don't think it can be helped. With all the bandwidth being used by people updating, the servers can't handle trying to play any games.

Yet there are still people on the servers playing their hearts out.

No, i have the platinum edition. I hate CS retail (and those gun names)

Are there? Well I certainly can't.

I don't think it's the actual games servers which are buggered anyway, just the main steam ones. However i suspect that it uses steam's servers to connect to the others. Therefore, hard cheese.

Where x is the steamid

Neither can I. I uninstalled everything about Steam I had and tried to start anew...it's updating the platform files for the second time, and has been at 33% for about 10 minutes now.
