I'm not sure how I did it. I just...end tasked it when it was doing that pre-loading half-life installation because it was taking forever, and then i started it back up, and it took me right to the Steam Main Menu.

holy shit! There are MUCHO more servers in Steam than ever! During the beta, there were only about 250-300, and now there are 1378 servers!!

I think you'll be dissapointed after those 96 minutes. I don't think many people will actually get to 'play' today.

yep, had its installed updated and working as of 8:10 GMT (so nine and a half hours ago) shame I had to go to work after a quick blast on Aztec.



still got an 0:1:x number though (about 2500 I think)



Oh and as for the retard that demands perfect service - you have no right to complain that you can't play a beta version of a free game online, especially when the current 'official' version is working quite happily, so chill out and go play that or something, its not the end of the world!

My Steam is up and ready, I played some CS this morning...but all the servers were laggy though...but that's b/c of everyone updating their steam...but still fun though.



BUT, I think the servers are down or something b/c I can't update of the in game servers...none show up at all.
