Still asking for ppl with bandwidth to help them.. Why didn't they include BitTorrent-style code in Steam, so that users could help them divide the bandwidth usage. I'm really afraid that we'll soon see something like what we saw when they released 1.6b the first time.

Vegas was a good map a while back, but because of the updates to CS it has been badly affected by bugs; invisible "walls" that bullets cant pass through, players disappearing at unusual intervals etc etc

Of COURSE Its still Beta because there hasnt been an official release or manditory update for All CS users.

If you looked at counter-strike.net for 1/1000 of a second you'd see that 1.5 was the official update, so of course 1.6 is beta!

Yes, It's a CAL/UGS/etc league map, but that doesn't make it an official Counter-Strike map.

Can i just say this is pooh... all this is going to mean is more money for Valve and we are going to be left out of pocket with these new things they are planing to implament like it says in the news post few days ago. :/
