RaptorRage, there have been days where Steam would not load for anyone when a patch was release and the only way to get it to work was for them to release another new patch.

E-Hog, the engine wasn't coded badly, because its Q1/2 coding. The game itself is coded poorly now. And why should I do better? I'm not paid to do it. Its ironic how everyone tells people "lets see you do better". When VALVe bought the rights to CS, they became obligated to improve the game... not add crap coding. People are paid to work at 110% efficiency, VALVe does it at 10%. You're the typical fanboy that makes this game go unimproved. You say "OMG! This game r l33t!" instead of pointing out all the bugs.

Also, anyone ever notice how weapons like Sig550 and G3 haven't been improved? Yet they add 3 new items. A shield which has more bugs than a dog sleeping in a pool of flees, the Galil, which is about as unbalanced as M4, and the FAMAS, which isn't very useful at all.

I hate CS, Valve and all the weapons and features Valve maintains. I still feel the need to troll CS forums.

It's the only socialising I do!
Frankly, the majority of people who complain about Valve's involvement in CS are looking through shit-tinted glasses.

If the auto-snipers were improved (how?) then they'd become another target for those who complain about the AWP.

Please, try and qualify your comments without resorting to baseless ramblings. If you have evidence to back up your claims (Valve's coding is inefficient, Steam updates cause Steam network problems) then offer it; it will make your arguments interesting.

At the moment you come across as someone wishing to start a flamewar.

The shield exploit/bug in the cs 1.6 beta is so annoying, they said they would fix it eventually though so it'll be alright. It's annoying when someone is running at you and even though they have the shield removed you can't hit them but they can hit you. Also on page 3 of the steam status thread Eric states the following:

There will no longer be a WonID system, it will be replaced by the SteamID system.

This would be a good oppurtunity to grab a really low SteamID number, as it will be the one you'll be assigned forever. They will be handed out in sequential order.

Not trying to start a flame war, just trying to show people that VALVe is seriously slacking on this stuff if they truly want it to go official. Just wait till Wednesday, I know there will be one major outage with everyone trying to jump on. It has happened EVERY Steam patch.

Another thing thats ticking lots of people off is the SLOW load times for CS in 1.6, yet they refuse to fix this. Every server now practically crashes when map changes. If its not a map load failure, its a total server crash. Wasn't like it early beta patches, but it continues to get worse and worse. The only reason I'm even saying this here is so more people read it, and maybe start screaming at VALVe to fix this, otherwise it will go unchanged.
