Heh, I love when something new for Steam is released, always see people complain and how much everything suck. Man poor Valve, I think they have one of the worst fan bases ever. (players, not mod creaters). First places was taken by Blizzard.

Which leagues and where in their rules? I just ran through two without seeing mention of it.

It's pretty hard to catch it online. I use it all the time. Most people do too.

someone used it on lan at a world cyber games qualifier(400ppl). they won it. admins checked the config files, and disqualified the team.

i never tried to use it after that event

The only map you really need it for is aztec, but I think CPL used to take the crickets out anyway. But now that aztec is out of CPL (and probably CAL), does it really matter? UGS might still use it but UGS doesn't count for anything, unless CXG is big.



But really, if you're only using it online, don't worry about being caught.

Why wouldn't UGS count for anything? Its a great league.
