When i started cheating (i dont anymore) was about a week after 1.3 came out. I was so pissed that the mp5 became a spray and pray weapon. And that the AK was weakend and the accuracy became shit. There was just too many damn random headhots. people didnt aim anymore. All they do is strafe side to side and go full auto. The silenced carbine became a great weapon. These spray and pray people are easy to beat, its just annoying when they get a HS that they dont aim for.

Anyways thats when cheats started booming is when 1.3 came out.

But I understand what you mean, we all get tired of CS sometimes, but I don't see the need to ruin other people's CS-experiences just to make my gaming experience more enjoyable.

okay here is what i have to say about this subject....When i started playing CS it was about two months before CS1.4...Man it sucked being a noob at this time...SO many fucking 733t cheaters...I couldnt BUY a kill...I had to download bots just to learn how to successfully play...

i have learned that those that are against the cheating far out weigh the ones that are for it. giving me a positive outlook that eventually the cheating will stop, not only because of the war between valve and ogc or what have u, but also because of the love players have for this game and the loathing of cheaters.

they arent going to buy a new cd key every time they want to test a cheat.. fear of being banned forever will prevent them from cheating..

It seems you do not understand much about it. There are several "NOWON" servers, which are servers that you can enter with ANY cd-key (just type 11 random numbers), and no wonid is generated. Cheaters use this kind of server to test new cheats.

If you want to see it by yourself, check 200.32.3.202:27015.

The worst thing about this whole cheating thing in Counter-Strike (in my opinion) is the automatic assumption these days that anyone doing well (read 4:1, 5:1, 10:1) HAS to be cheating. It never ceases to annoy me that every time I log onto a server where the average skill level is pretty low, and I annihilate them, they all call me a cheater.



I've been playing Counter-Strike since Beta 5, and have a TON of experience. I have a high-quality soundcard and a good headset, which to a person who knows how to identify and pinpoint sounds, is almost as good if not better than a wallhack. My aim is not equal to 3D players or the world's elite players, but it is pretty damn good. I occasionally attend a LAN Cafe with members of [W.E.W], [DoP], [TDK], [aotp], and other prominent clans, past and present.



Probably the most amusing experience of my CS life came a few weeks ago, when out of curiousity I tried out an OpenGL Hack. To my amazement, it actually made me play WORSE. The reason for this was that I had to pretend that I didn't have a wallhack, so I had to occasionally let someone camp me, NOT check camper-friendly corners... etc.



Basically instead of just shooting thru walls and doors to check if people were there (because after playing maps thousands of times, you get a good idea of where people usually are at 10 seconds after spawn, at 15 seconds, at 20 seconds, etc), I had to purposefully miss.



To me, cheating can never replace my own built-up skill since Beta 5, and my desire to try out these cheats has since been extinguished, as I know what's down that road, and honestly don't NEED cheats.

First of all, I like how you go against yourself and compare the cheating community to murderers and robbers. Nice touch.

I respect that you admit that you use cheats because if you didn't you would probably suck, unlike some of the other guys here who say although they cheat, they could still beat anyone without using cheats.. yeah, right.

Third, no one has posted any IP addresses because I don't think anyone cares how well you can use other people's hacks to be good at a game, you unoriginal fruit. Those "informational demos" could be seen as propaganda, btw, I know that you are not spreading it on purpose, but a misguided newbie could be inticed by them. And one thing about that last part... "what anti-cheaters are up against.." you make cheaters sound powerful, and courageous, when really they are just lame, immature children with nothing better to do.
