yea, ur right. as part of the regular (non cheating) community, i shouldn't even have read that article, none of that applies to me. In reality, i am very rarely affected by cheaters.

It really amuses me how quickly this discussion turned into a flame-fest. Heh, a friend of mine once said, "Dude, all forums are flame wars!" People who make personal attacks against other people (who are fed up with cheating, just like you) and express that in these forums are just as immature as the people who post the rants. Flame me all you want, but that is my opinion in this matter, plain and simple.



Anyway, we really shouldn't be attacking each other on the subject of cheating. I think we can all pretty much agree that cheats ruin the game for people on the receiving end. And that is the point of CS: to have fun; without having to change the game and cheat. No matter how mature or immature you are as a player.

I'd like to think of cheating this way: steroids.



You use them so you look like you're extremely amazing at a certain event or game, but really, you're not playing by the rules.



Onec you start using them, you depend on them. Then if you do stop, there are after effects. You suck. You're way worse than when you started. I should know. I used to hack. I'm damn glad I stopped when I did, but I should never have started.



The point is once cheats are pretty much done with, everyone who did cheat will whine and complain about how much they suck ass, and I'll be laughing my ass off at them.
