System is a funny person. He has helped me with coding many times, and I respect him greatly for that.



I don't think anyone has the right to critizize him for his opinions. If he wants to believe religion has no purpose, that is up to him. I agree that if someone thinks cheating is fun, they can cheat - Even though I believe Counter-Strike is more fun without.



Overall, not a bad interview - It can be hard to capture the personality and spirit of a person in a paper. I think some players' frustration with cheating clouds System's responses, however.



Oh well :P

Clearly System and Albert Einstein are the same. One linked the properties of physics to relative motion, the other made a cheat. Nice work, DocUK.



I don't care what you think of System. He might be a programmer, but that doesn't make him mature or smart. Mature people are responsible, smart people manage their time well.



"I agree that if someone thinks cheating is fun, they can cheat." They can hang small animals from telephone wires too, but that doesn't mean they should cheat. If you think cheating can be excused, you're wrong. Especially by something as flimsy as "having fun."



I'm sure System had fun making trojans too. Wow, trojans and cheats. What a class act.

System is only in his own game of making cheats, giving i'views, etc, for self-promotion.



I would have guessed the only reason he gave the i'view to begin with was simply for self-promotion, a name for himself.



He also made it extremely apparant by his method of giving answers. His answers were rather short, not even to the point in some cases, and as if "I'm too good for your questions" was his general mentality, he had a tendancy to repeat himself in several instances, but then again the questions were one in the same in many cases. He also gave a few cliche answers, which leads me to believe he is not as intelligent as one might think.



That is not to say he is not narrow minded. He has his own views and goals (implied, not directly stated).



Many people have a self-precieved notion of hack creators as "bad people." In actuality its not alawys the case. Then again, such as in this case, he doesn't exactly have any particular reason to create and continute to cheat. "Because he likes to cheat" is a laugh, I don't buy it.



Trojans too huh... how quaint. He's power hungry, he likes to have control, and he more than likely would be very insecure if someone took that power from him, eg; if he himself got ass-raped by a bios killing virus.



I personally don't have any problem with System. Meerly many of the poeple who use his tools. This would be comparative to someone who hated a gun manufacturer who producted guns to kill things. Guns are susposed to kill, obviously. However if you give the gun to the wrong person, they could kill another homosapian with it. Its slightly different from cheats, cheats have a more direct purpouse, to cheat of course, and this is generally socialy unacceptable.



Enough useless rambelings (as usual)...

Wrong. Even people with a little computer knowledge can get around anti-cheat devices. I will NOT go into details on how, as I have never cheated, and will not support it in any way, but I can think of many ways off the top of my head to make OGC undetectable at this point in time.



That is a rather simple minded question / statement, it looks to me as if you may be a cheater trying to get around the latest installment of VAC, but hey, thats just what I gathered from it.

This whole interview and its surroundings is a fucking circus. System will be eating every ounce of it up. Getting this much attention would make anyone zealous. As I said many times before, he's only in it for fame. I'm hoping people forget about this 'joke' quickly.

This would be as simple minded as to say; "YU PLAEY ONLIEN VIDOE GAEMS, YUO MUST BE A NURD! I BETT YO WIEL NEVRE GIT LAID IN YOR LIEF!"



If you would first of course learn to read (the entire interview) you would learn he is 17, and not a resident of the United States (Thats the most basic material one could gather from the interview, I doubt someone like you would read more into the words than just the implied meaning.)



I must agree, cheaters do suck, but so do ignorant flamers.



Try to get a general knowledge of the topic before you spout off about it, yea... thanks.

That was my way of suming up that entirely too large post into a few words.



And its quite true, reality outlives his arrogance, he states several times how crummy certain anti-cheat measures were, yet he doesn't seem to have any working cheats at the moment.



As for programming skills, if he were somewhat decent at it he might attempt to get a knowledge of "server side" working.



He doesn't seem to consider it a 'war' but he does chose to 'fight back.' Sounds like he's afraid to let on a little more truth. And gathered from the other answers he gave, It sounds like he's lying about the whole "I don't care about cheating, its just for fun." gig.



For someone who doesn't seem to think its that big of a deal (a war), he takes it serious enough to continually develop new cheats.

What I see is a lot of rationalization on the part of those "defending" - what I percieve as defending - Someone like System.



Bottom line is it doesn't matter how old he is.



He has stated - in not so many words and explicitly - He doesn't care about anyone else except himself and doesn't care about ruining people's fun.



Well, guess what?



In my book, sometimes a spade is a spade.



Meaning, you can say System and others like them are not the devil incarnate and very well be the nicest people on Earth outside of their chosen "hobby"...



But truth is... there is something wrong with this person.



Either the way he was brought up or how he percieves the world. Ironically, he probably thinks HE is the victim and like someone else said, needs cheats and hack coding to give him a sense of power that he probably doesn't have in the real world. There is always SOMETHING that motivates people to do what they do as cliched as that sounds.



And I personally will not make excuses for what he does or his "views" on life.



Like Rizzuh said, I don't really CARE what a hack/cheat maker thinks. I think they need to seriously need to take a look at themselves and start to do something to be a better member or society.



And for all you who say, "D00d. Give it up. It's just a game you Fn' noob"...



I have a right to enjoy CS the way it was meant to be played.



People on equal ground as far as no cheats or things like wall-hack or aimbot that give them an unfair advantage. Deal with it.

Bah, I'm 13 and I don't sound like that. He's just self centered. I bet he'd just be as arrogant if he shot someone. "Oh, just because he died doesn't mean you have to blame me." That is apparent in his answers to the 1.5 questions. Cheating will be slowed down because Valve can now automatically upgrade anti-cheats on servers. OGC will then have to constantly upgrade to keep from being detected. It is kind of like an arms race, and I don't see Valve stopping any time soon. I would also pay attention to the fact that he is avoiding the blame for everyone else cheating and Myg0t-mentality cheating. Not taking responsibility for your own actions isn't exactly mature.

Lethal, you seem to think you're a lot smarter than you really are. First of all, comparing guns to cheats is way off base. A gun's primary purpose is/should be for defence/deterence or for sport. A cheat is to just let the cheater have a little more fun at other people's expense. There is no good purpose for cheats. System created OGC and obviously has some real personal issues to work out if he doesn't care how many "random internet people" he hurts and doesn't hurt his friends. Many have asked here, "have you ever me System?" But the real question is, has system ever met any of these other people?



Secondly, to Lethal again, have garrynewman was just joking and it went right over your head. Thirdly and finally, there's no way in heck that you could think of a few ways that you could circumvent current anti-cheat measures that someone else hasn't already tried and found failure. But you just keep thinking that you can do that, it's obviously how you make it through life.
