why i still suck

I've got a friend. He's 13. The typical conversation with him about CS goes somewhere along "I'm a god and everyone except this one guy hacks even though they do worse then him and they all hack and people keep trying to kick me and i own everyone and i was 60-5 with dualies and all i use is AWP and dualies and im #1 with deagle on the server and i am the best cs player ever. and shut up Danny (this comes around the time i tell him that i was on yesterday and say him at 5-15), i am way better than you. you suck. everyone cheats."



its actually pretty funny once the migraine retreats and i can think again.

same thing happens here in my community only they are a lot younger, as young as 6 maybe. And they swear on almost every occasion may it be owning some ppls ass or getting their asses owned. but some are still damn good.

I agree that most of the best are around 16-25 but not all. I know several kids that are around 6-10, and they are sooooo good with the awp and sucks really hard on other guns

A lot of people come onto our server (our as in the one that belongs to rizzuh, narby and me, not CSN's [which doesn't exist]) and the minute they hear ANYONE talking, they ask how to turn off ``sound.'' It's really annoying and I think if everyone just got past this phobia of speaking we'd be better off. I mean come on, people act like it's ``gay'' to talk instead of type. Think about it. We're all playing the game, why not make it easier to communicate? It enhances the team play element of the game and boosts enjoyment. How stupid! It's not like you're asking someone out on a date.



Actually, I've noticed that people who generally act like morons are much more tolerable when you're speaking to them. I guess it's easier for some kids to call a ``machine'' a stupid nub pussy than it is to say that same thing to something more human.



I'm pretty sure rizzuh and I have about as much fun as CS can give when we get good teamplay going with our friends. Give it a shot.

I don't think players are as inconsistent as they think. Perhaps it's the randomness of player skill level you find on various servers.



I joined this one server (a lan I guess, since everyone else was under 20 ping and I was about 140) and I single-handedly annihilated them all of them. After a while of crushing them under the mighty foot of my Mac-10 (?!), I started feeling sort of guilty and switched to another server...Where I promptly got my ass handed to me on a silver platter with a placard that said "Feanor, you SO suck".



Since we don't have a ladder system (unless you're in a clan or something) like StarCraft, I just play some random guys whenever I log on. And the results are random as well:



Sometimes I break them like I broke their friends...

Other times the enemy's dishing out the hurt and I'm the chump asking for seconds.



Oh, and asspennies. You really DO suck! <laugh>
