Maxim, i live in England so im not entirely sure if you get the same magazine, or if you do if it has the same articles, but its the october 2001 issue anyway. Im not sure either if the measure was carried out fully, but at the time of the report it had evidently been accepted. I'd imagine it would be a violation to impose religion, but from my understanding there are areas in America which are very religious, so i cant imagine it would be that much of an issue in some places.Comment

Carlsbor... i hardly think that any respectable magazine would use names like jock and anti-jock, let alone call the principle stupid. There is no such measure. Congress voted to ban the ten commandments not the other way around. Do us a favor and go the hell away. Also, i play cs, but i think it should be limeted to adults. No one is arguing here that it was the cause of the murders, but you'd probobly all agree it was a contribution factor. thats all that matters. CS just fueled his addiction to killing, it gave him much of the will to carry this out, thats how psychology works. if this guy hadnt played CS, there is a fair chance this never would have happened.Comment

Please, you know there would never be a law passed that would allow the Ten Commandments to be posted in every school room. Even if the law passed through Congress it would most definately be shot down by the Supreme Court (who actually pay attention to the constitution.)They are tryin to remove a monument right now from a state government office because it has the commandments on it too. So I don't know how the school wouldn't be any different.
Yeah I saw that on the news too. They already moved the 10 Commandments "monument" to another site. From in front of a state government building to the front of a courthouse somewhere i believe.Comment

Well since the law is federal then it wouldn't matter which areas are more religious. If the Supreme court says no prayer in school you can bet it will be the same for the 10 commandments and it's nationwide not just against the law in some areas.
BTW Maxim magazine is very popular in the US. Mainly for the hot chicks and not the articles. I would wait for the news on cnn b4 i reported anything from Maxim.Comment

Also, I like the thing about how the CT characters in CS wear dark clothes... Note that the killer here wasn't pretending to be a CT... And the killer ALSO wore dark clothes! Well wh**pty-f*ck*ng-d**! What do you expect him to wear? Day-glo orange?Comment

Sorry but i´d have to say that, i live in Germany and News here say that Guy don´t plays any FPS Games or something like that, but he was at a Shootersclub in Policeschool, i think the media here only need a explanation why the Guys trippes out and kill 17 People.. FPS Games are well known so why dont just use them to explain.. no words about the club he was in..Comment

Even though cs wasnt the main reason this boy killed so many people cs was part of the problem.. People in the gaming biz and people who play game are afraid that these killings will bring havoc against thier beloved game so they try to shift blame on parents, the government, etc.Comment

True, CS was a contributing factor to this kid's "rampage," no doubt. As was, perhaps, Doom or Quake to the Columbine shooting. But limiting a game to adults is not the answer.if this guy hadnt played CS, there is a fair chance this never would have happened.
That's possibly one of the stupidest things I've heard.
Maybe if he hadn't played CS, or any other video games (including Pac-Man) watched any television, movies, read any books, magazines, never listened to any music, radio, or talked to any people there would have been a chance this wouldn't have happened.Comment

Many factors lead up to events such as this. He has mental problems, he was a marksman, he had access to a gun, he plays violent games, etc, etc, etc. Many things put together can predispose the development of such an act. No one thing alone is at fault.Comment

Well, I actually felt bad for the columbine shooters, due to the fact I had to put up with the same bullshit, although what they did was totally wrong. Now with this guy, I have no idea what to think. Can someone link us to the full story or did I miss it on the front page?
