I love all these people crying that CS sucks because of noobs. Then they go on to say that Steam sucks because its so hard to install.

Steam doesn't ask for your CD-key at any time. This has to mean that you can get all the betaSteam supported games for free! There's a SteamHL in it too. Haven't tried it yet, but does it have the sigleplayer missions too? That'd be stupid, Valve would be handing out HL for free...
I might be wrong tho', maybe it checks your HD for a legitime HL or CS installation before you get to suscribe to games.Comment

i got one error message saying something was reset by peer, i got steam thing working but when i click on cs steam it looks like its loading and it never does!Comment

Earlier I said that if you have 1.4 you cant play 1.3. Well, this is true for me. I can get into 1.3 but can't connect to any server, it just reties and retries and retries and boom no connectyism. Is anyone having the same issue? If so, is there a fix? BTW if you are complaining about the jumping slowing you down you have got to be joking.. I found VERY little difference after one jump. Mostly it comes after 3 jumps, then you can really tell. I think it's a GOD send.
In other news, I have been working on a new map, it's based on the movie Black Hawk Down. It's a host rescue map based on actual area maps I've studied in Mouge... It should be finished in about two months at the pace I'm going now. Keep an eye here for updates.Comment
