I don't think he's too dense to understand. I think we need to take a step back and look at what's going on here.



1. survivor looks pretty but doesn't play pretty.

2. dust looks ugly but doesn't play ugly.

I disagree. Whenever I play survivor, there always seem to be great battles. People work well in teams. The map seems to flow very well. Yeah, there does tend to be a few people that complain about being blinded or not being able to see anything, but hey, you can change the texture(s). Whereas, whenever Havana is being played, the battles are ridiculous, people don't know where to go, basically it's total mayhem. I really don't like total mayhem.

survivor is the shit. bitch about cross hairs? deal with it I say. small plane? yea, not all planes are 747 ish, consider that it may be a personal jet, and also 1/4 filled with snow at the bottom. small cars? again the bottoms are covered with snow.

At first, I had like really gay-sounding names that sounded cool to elementry school kids. Names like "1337 commander" or "death viper" and stuff like that. One time my dad uninstalled all my games while in a murderous rage, and when I reinstalled the games secretly the next week, I was too depressed to make myself a name. Disabled was my default name, so I stuck with it

When I first started out CS (the day after 1.3 came out, coincidentally) I was only playing on one server, which didn't run survivor. So I was always hearing about survivor, and how it was the worst CS map. When they added it back into the rotation, I prepared myself for crap. First couple of time I played it were fun. In fact, all the times I played it were fun. I can see why people don't like the map, (no "comfort zone", computer-weakened eyes that cant take a bit of contrast, the inability to see the giant, brightly coloured X in the center of the screen) but I always liked it.



And greenhouse aint so pretty. Maybe for CS, but for DoD, or alot of other mods, (Natural Selection) it isn't really great. Neato water though.
