CS 1.6 Anticipation

the file you need to download is like 3 megs.

valve's steam servers will do the rest once everyone is on there

and it will lag bad. this is intentional as they are using it to stress the servers.

no spike my life revolves solely around this game so I've been spending the last week throwing up in anticipation and when I do go outside I whine and bitch to everyone I see about the fact that valve is a n00b for not letting me play cs:cz I also don't bother reading other peoples posts so I want you to answer my post by itself

Actually, I'm just trying to figure out how you will be playing a beta of Condition Zero... unless of course you mean Counter Strike... which is entirely possible.

I'm not going to download it, since I can't play anyway. Ahh, the wonders of living 20 miles out of town with only a sub-56k connection. I could play fine until the last few updates, I think the voice comm and all the extra crap they've added is just too much.



I look forward to playing the full version of 1.6 with POD bots. Oh wait, no I don't.

Because I'm calling it condition zero. It has the new condition zero weapons, which they would no doubt have not made or spent any time making this a nice patch if they weren't gonna try to market it as a game and charge you 40 bucks, on top of what you payed for HL, for 60% more polys was it? and single player maps that I don't care about at least.

So to me this IS what I've been waiting for so I'll call it condition zero because of that fact that we wouldn't be getting it if they didn't think they'd be getting money. The game may be good but its still not worth 40 bucks more to me since I don't care about single player.

ah...

well, the 60% will be pretty sweet... and I've always wondered about how well a single player would be with CS... (Counter-Life anyone?) I love kicking computer ass w/ AK's, Scouts... Elites even. However, I think I liked the whole "Tony Hawk" approach to the game that Gearbox, rather than the "linear" gameplay that the new company brings...

At any rate, calling it CZ when it simply isn't is... confusing? But I guess you can call it whatever you want to.



Like this apple, for instance. I dont call it an apple at all! In fact I call it a "Mr. Sanchez"! INSANITY! "Boy howdy, I could go for a nice bite out of that Mr. Sanchez right now... it looks ripe and ready to be devoured." I think... I understand all those weird looks people give me as I comment on Mr. Sanchez.



In short, what I'm trying to say is that wet birds do NOT fly at night. And niether should you. So STAY OFF THE SMACK, DAMMIT!

I would splooge and cream my pants at the same time if they released it at midnight. I would also stay up until I had to shower for school and play it. Think I'm joking? You have no idea...

Though it would be 2:00 am cst when its midnight pst and hence when they would release it, IF it was released at uh midnight. Hence I think I won't stay up..but then again..who knows..
