Gamers around the world are waiting to get their grip on the latest version of Counter-Strike. 1.6's BETA stage will begin tomorrow. To prep you guys, my arch enemy sTeve from ShackNews has posted a de_airstrip preview movie that demos the new, uh, demo player (viewdemo).
I've gotten a lot of positive feedback about our CS 1.6 Hands-On. It was a bitch to write but I'm glad I got it out last night. Be sure to check it out if you want to be in the know. If not, you can always go back to talking to your sock puppet about Windows 98 before slicing the tip of your fingers again in another cry for attention suicide attempt.
These looks at CS 1.6 are some real hit factories, so HomeLan and GameSpy have both slapped up some early impressions. The impressions are fairly short, to be honest.
