CS 1.6 beta is fine. You guys stop complaining and give VALVe a break. They didn't have to release a beta for us. No one is making them come out with 1.6. Just give it time and have a little respect. They are the one's busting their asses just for you guys. Show some maturity.

Steam is very nice, it works for me as well as 1.6. It will work soon, when VALVe can get back up on their feet with some more bandwidth. The pings are high because a lot of people are running their own server, and they aren't all that fast...

stream beta and 1.6 beta are both fine. sometimes they work sometimes they don't. it's the same with cs 1.5's ingame server search. someitmes it works sometimes it don't . my worked fine today. just having a little problem getting into servers.... it'll be good tommrow.

DAAAAAAAMN.. SO CLOSE. I got everything finally working but when i try to load cs, it says "the game is currently unavailable please try again at another time." AND I HATE TELEPHONE OPERATORS. Ne1 know how to help a poor guy like me?



P.S. I just kept trying to run steam and one time it worked so keep trying all u people who r having problems getting steam to work.

no he's not dumb...mine never crashes... i downloaded the update file no prob in about 30 secs....takes me about a minute from where i start steam to get on a server

ive just been playing the steam beta for past 2hours and it owns



couldnt get on all morning was getting the "You have been dissconnected from this server." crap but then suddenly it connected =)



looks to me like all the gun and player models are more detailed now
