Yeah. How can CS2 be on the Doom 3 engine when its a valve project. Its like buying a burger king when you work in mcdonalds (shh don't tell anyone). CS2 will use source, and it would be bloody stupid of them not to :) Look at the demos of source in action. mmmm...pie.

They need to get there act together, the longer they delay 1.6 the longer CS:CZ will take. If those game site release dates are accurate, i won't be buying it.Comment

The reason they stopped updating us on the TF2 progress was because they started developing it on the same engine they were making for their top secret project - HL2. That was 5 years ago now, so I'm guessing TF2 has been in development for as long as HL2 has. And they are keeping quiet on the HL2 multiplayer modes..........

the update finally came out today! but after i downloaded it and tried to start a bot game it gave me one of those error messages w/ the "retry" "ignore" and "cancel" choices. it wouldnt let me play so i uninstalled and deleted all of steam, and when i went to login they closed down the servers for no damn reason again so im stuck w/ nothing until they put them back up.Comment
