hey guys there's a new feature with steam they randomised the error messages so you get a new one every time you start it up pretty cool huh

Um yeah. Personally, I think that Steam is great for the people who have gotten it to work (most of the people playing it are more mature and have tried hard to get it to work) and people who haven't gotten it to work should just stick with CS 1.5 because that probably means you shouldn't be BETA testing if you can't even get it to work.

isnt it their job to make it work? since when is it our job, as the beta testers, to get our hands dirty and do some hardcore software programming? all we do is take note of the errors and pass that knowledge along to steam.

or maybe we weren't lucky enough to start up steam the exact nanosecond that it was updated before the servers overloaded when 10 people tried to download it at once!

and i doulbe-clicked that dumb looking icon prolly 100 or so times on more than one computer and it worked a total of 3 times. but it screwd up again and now i'm just gonna wait. :)
