CS 1.6B Update

You won't have to use Steam to download the 1.6 release. You will be able to download and install the 1.6 patch just like you downloaded and installed your 1.5 patch.

yea and this is most definately a good thing. i think as of now only 10% of the community has access to steam, and it still can't handle 1% of that. If 1.6 went live right now on STEAM only there would be hilarious consequences.



edit: the new GUI and console will be in 1.6, friends will not though i don't think unless you use STEAM.

I like the idea of steam being involved tho... as well as downloads... so smaller patches can be made at anytime... with every now and then a compilation of these small patches being relaased.
