yea 1.4 steam was stable, and i liked it. but that was because it was private. ps Jet Li i don't think anyone can get in to steam...

Here's my theory:

1.6 beta was supposed to be private too. But so many people found out and all the sites, including cs-nation started telling the public about this. And Valve didn't expect this many people to test 1.6. So steam crashes alot. Steam has been around for quite a while.

seems like it's back online! just played it... the update just sucks. The deagle sounds are HORRIBLE wow. Aztec's rain is kewl, i hope other maps adobt the new technology.

it was online (to log onto steam network and perform updates), now its offline again. for various reasons, maybe capacity ran out, maybe valve took it offline.



remember steam is a CONTENT DELIVERY SYSTEM, nothing more. every time you load up steam, youre putting load onto the steam servers, maybe theyre not at full capacity yet.
