ok this is exactly what happened when steam first came out. so wouldnt you think valve would prepare their servers for this so it didnt happen again. it has gone down three times today and it wont go back up. these guys are just plain stupid.

we arent even sure that the servers overloading are the problem.. maybe they pulled the plug because they got tired of people complaining about debugging/runtime errors

right, so i was downloading the new version, then it suddenly stopped. I restarted my computer, and now steam wont start. When i try to start steam again, it says there is another version of steam running, even after killing the steam.exe process. Poo. Did i mention I'm a ninja?
