The FAMAS sucks pretty long and hard, but the Galil is awsome, I get headshots like crazy with that thing, as Puffycloud mentioned.

Yea. Nowadays I go solo, and maybe sometimes I'll scrim with some people I know.

Flying solo is the way to go.. If I want to join a clan I'd have moved to Waco, Tx. I'm glad noone uses autobuy or rebuy. Give the noob a "magical, no thinking required, one button buy everything key" and they might just beat your rush or diffuse something.

Yes. Clans do make one look better, btw, as having someone with [hopefully] half a brain instead of some moronic pubby covering your back will always help your performance, regardless of the oppostion.



All this time and I still haven't touched the rebuy.txt or the autobuy.txt. No customization means no use on this end. I suppose they could be a useful tool, but again, I haven't even touched them.



As for all the additions we've seen of late, I believe the new rifles to be the most-used, followed, and perhaps even overshadowed by, the new scripting commands, and, of course, the infamous shield. Then again, there is always the fun and joy that is naturally inherent to the autosnipers....



And famas + burst + distance = headshot machine. The Galil is above-par as well, but the FAMAS truly has the potential to shine.

I voted no, but I don't like flying solo, I'm trying to get back into a clan. That's why little funny asides on the end of a poll option aren't the greatest idea.

It reminds me: I can actually recognize some guns now. Before CS, I was completely gun-ignorant. Now, when I read about an HK MP5, I'm like "That's the wimpy SMG! It takes 8 bullets to kill, and you have to get a headshot to do anything!" One of the 'elite' weapons, but useful for cheap money.



And that reminds me of a movie where I saw just about every CS gun. I wonder if the props department played CS. The movie was Ecks vs. Sever, if anyone's interested. I think I saw a para, an awp, an mp5, a glock...I can't remember. Maybe an m4. I know I saw the awp, though (it was then I realized there was a pattern of CS guns). But I remember it was like at least 7 different guns from the game.
