i got it solved now. i use the old-school menus, so theres no autobuy+rebuy.

Rebuy is perfect for what most players need. Especially true when you're buying rifle, ammo, kevlar/helmet, nade, 2 flashes. Anything beyond that is a pinch after one rebuy is a pinch.



I'd expect people to take a week or two to get really familiar with the auto snipers again. Once they do you might see one pop up from time to time in a mid range sniper position, or supporting a push at a choke point.

I use auto buy constantly cause I just edited the autobuy.txt file. So it buys me what I want in the order that I want it.

yeah the only reason i dont use either is because i prefer my own scripts......all the flavor you want with 10 grams of fat or less!

autobuy/rebuy is another way valve have made CS noobie friendly. i know that it hardly changes anything, but it lets the newbies get out of the buy zone as quick as the good players can. im probably never going to use auto/rebuy, since ive heard stories it buys the wrong things.

Eh...I could've sworn that one of the selling points of buy scripts was that it allowed players be lazy and have the script automatically purchase whatever it is they normally get.
