Blizzard Directly Selling Pink Mercy Skin for Breast Cancer Awareness Charity

Blizzard proves that they can sell Overwatch skins directly to consumers with their new charity drive. From now until May 21, Blizzard will donate 100% of all proceeds it receives from purchases of the limited time Pink Mercy skin towards the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. The bare minimum that Blizzard will donate is $250,000 (USD), so it's already starting off on the right foot.

Following the end of the charity campaign, Blizzard will announce the total amount of its donation. Blizzard provided a wealth of additional details and content beyond the Pink Mercy skin. There is also a limited time Pink Mercy charity shirt, Pink Mercy sprays and player icons that you can get as Twitch Drops, and more. Blizzard provided all of the details in this new blog post.
