Starting today and running through to November 7, The Shadow of the Mad King event is back for Guild Wars 2. This special Halloween themed event brings back the Mad King's labyrinth, the Clock Tower jumping puzzle, and more.
As always, this special Halloween content is free to everybody that owns the game. Simply head on over to Lion's Arch to get started with the tricks and treats.

Shadow of the Mad King, our annual Halloween festival, returns with ghoulish capers, spooky fights, and holiday fun! Gather together with the citizens of Lion’s Arch to enjoy another year of tricks, treats, and terrible jokes.
The Mad King's Realm
Are you brave enough to go trick-or-treating in the Mad King’s Labyrinth? Knock on haunted doors, but beware the grisly monsters prowling the maze. If the Labyrinth’s endless armies aren’t enough to slake your thirst for combat, you can face off against other players in Lunatic Inquisition.
Ascent to Madness
Delve into the Mad King’s lair for a face-to-face battle with King Oswald Thorn himself. Be on your guard—the diabolical monarch has deadly tricks up his sleeve. Cater to the king’s capricious whims, and you may survive.
The Mad King's Clock Tower
Race against time in the Mad King’s Clock Tower, Tyria’s most haunted jumping puzzle! Leap over the crumbling remnants of the clock tower, but be on your toes—one wrong move and you may fall into the rising tide of horror. Can you conquer its cruelty?
Lion's Arch Festivities
Enjoy the spooky atmosphere of Lion’s Arch, but try not to make yourself sick eating candy corn. King Thorn himself—and his horrible sense of humor—will make his traditional appearance to play Mad King Says.

What would a Halloween festival be without treats to go along with the tricks? Collect frightful new armor skins, weapon skins, and other rewards to keep the spirit alive all year long!
