Today, Epic Games made it so that you no longer have to pay any sort of fee to play Paragon. The Unreal powered MOBA was always slated to be free when it was ready for release with early adopters being able to pay their way to early access. Today, that paywall has been removed on all platforms (PC & PS4).
Developed by Epic Games, the creators of Gears of War and Unreal Tournament, Paragon is a competitive 5v5 MOBA that combines the ferocity of third person action with the deep strategic choice of a MOBA.
Every match is an epic clash of Heroes, each with their own unique design and play style that can turn the tide of battle. Gideon tears open a cosmic rift in space and drops meteors on his enemies. Muriel soars across the arena to shield and inspire her allies. Murdock unleashes his Ultimate to deal justice from across the map. With a new Hero introduced every three weeks, Paragon offers endless opportunity for new players and veterans alike.
All Heroes are always free to play. Paragon is designed so that every player can compete and win without ever spending money. Cards can only be earned by playing the game. Those who would dare reach the highest levels of skill can tackle Master Challenges. As you increase your Hero level, you’ll unlock new card packs, unique taunts, and valuable rewards.
