  • Dengeki Bunko: Fighting Climax Out Now in the Americas

Dengeki Bunko: Fighting Climax is now available in the Americas from SEGA.
Popular characters from light novels published by Dengeki Bunko ("DURARARA!!," "Sword Art Online," "Ro-Kyu-Bu!," and many more) are thrown into a crazy dream world and forced to fight each other in Dengeki Bunko: Fighting Climax -- a 2D fighting game developed by SEGA and French Bread/Ecole. For a limited time, copies of Dengeki Bunko: Fighting Climax will come in a special launch edition, which includes the Bonus Edition Soundtrack CD. The game is now available in stores across the Americas for the PlayStation®3 ($39.99) and PlayStation®Vita ($29.99) systems.

Dengeki Bunko: Fighting Climax takes characters from popular series, such as "Oreimo," "A Certain Magical Index," "Accel World,"and "Toradora!," and turns them into playable fighting characters with moves based on scenes from their original works! The game boasts a roster of 14 playable characters and 23 assists. Play as Kirito to quickly slash through opponents, or take control of the fierce Taiga, punching and kicking your way to victory. Get creative and pair up your main character with an unlikely support!

The game features nostalgic stages that SEGA fans will love (like Sonic the Hedgehog) and an original arcade story mode. This adds a great layer of interaction for these crossover characters. Fighting Climax is multiplayer friendly, and supports CrossSave between the PS3 and the PS Vita. Refine your fighting skills at home or on the go!

Dengeki Bunko: Fighting Climax is easy to learn, but difficult to master. Whether a fighting-game veteran, or newly starting out in the Fighting Game Community, Fighting Climax gives all players the chance to shine with its auto-combo integration. Auto-combos may not be the strongest attacks you can dish out, but they're definitely beginner-friendly. The uniqueness of Impact Skills, Climax Arts, and Trump Cards along with the wide cast of characters sets Fighting Climax in a class of its own. Get ready for a dream duel of epic proportions!

Still waiting for the Ignition update arcade port, but... MUST... BUG... FRIENDS... FORCE THEM TO BUY THIS FREAKING GAME AND MARATHON THE F*** OUT OF IT! I CALL DIBS ON FULL-POWERED ENPATSU SHAKUGAN NO UCHITE SHANA! (Translates to what the video thumbnail says.) SHE'S MINE AND I'LL WIPE ALL YOU FOOLS OUT! FORGET ASUNA AND MIKOTO! SHANA AND WILHEMINA IS WHERE IT'S AT! SHUT UP! SHUT UP! SHUT UP!

... Leafa is an assist? That's not fair. Why does Sword Art Online get three characters, and Shakugan no Shana gets two?
