Next week at PAX Prime 2015, Sierra and The Odd Gentlemen will reveal the first details for the second chapter for the new King's Quest adventure game.
Sierra also released a new gameplay trailer today for the the first chapter of King's Quest. The first chapter of King's Quest is available now on the PS4, PS3, XB1, 360, and PC for $9.99 (USD).
The “Adventure Games Revival: King’s Quest Rebirth and Reveal” panel will take place on Friday, Aug. 28 at 3 p.m. in the Wyvern Theatre. In a discussion moderated by gaming journalist Geoff Keighley, Creative Director Matt Korba and Producer Lindsey Rostal of The Odd Gentlemen will explore the cherished origins and modern renaissance of adventure games. Actress Zelda Williams*, voice of Amaya Blackstone, will also be present as a special guest panelist. The group will delve into the highlights and challenges of reimagining one of the genre’s most treasured names before pulling the curtain back on King’s Quest’s next chapter, launching later this year.
