Last night, Bethesda not only announced Fallout Shelter, but they also released it. Well, they released it for iOS devices and left Android users like myself angry and upset, making only vague allusions after the fact that it might come out on Android later.
But I digress.
Fallout Shelter is a bit like the base building sections of XCOM mixed with the life controlling aspects of The Sims and obviously mixed with the classic Fallout locations and humor. You're tasked with making your own vault! You control everything from the layouts, to the types of rooms you create, and even down to what the names are of the people who live there. It's also a free download and can be played offline.
