Marty O'Donnell Wins Legal Settlement with Bungie Over Unpaid Wages

This past April, news broke about Bungie firing composer Martin O'Donnell. Following the termination O'Donnell said that he was terminated "without cause" and began to seek compensation for unpaid wages, including accrued vacation days, paid time off days, sabbatical time, and more.

Today, that dispute has been settled with Bungie. Under the agreement, Bungie and the CEO of Bungie, Harold Ryan, will pay O'Donnell $38,385 in unpaid work and vacation time. In addition, they will pay him an addition $38,385 in double damages. After attorney's fees and interest, O'Donnell will have won $95,019.13.

The work that O'Donnell provided for Destiny prior to his termination will continue to be in the game.
