The second beta phase for Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn has kicked off on the PlayStation 4.
Phase 2 of the Beta uses the live game servers, so players can join other PC and PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system players and use existing characters in the Beta. New characters and player progress created during this phase can be transferred at the start of the official service that begins with the release on Monday, April 14th. In addition, anybody that pre-orders the game (either the Standard or the limited Collector’s Edition) can join Early Access that begins on Friday, April 11th.
How to Participate:
Everyone who has a PlayStation 4 system is eligible to participate in the Beta test for free (there is no need for advance registration of the game).
· On your PlayStation 4 system, proceed to the PlayStation Store and download FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn (Beta Version). Once the download is complete, the installation will begin automatically.
· Start FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn (Beta Version) from the home screen.
· Log in using (or create for free) a Square Enix account and follow the on-screen instructions to start the game.
