Yes, i think your right, BC1 did not have prone, and even thou i did not play it am sure i would have just hated '' no prone '', the sniper is prone but will they keep it like that in the end game.

We all know what the trailer for BF2 was like, laser designaitors, blackhawks with missile pods.

They did not give too much away, but i still have alot of hope for this game, if its done right this game could be epic, i also thought the chopper was going to get '' OWNED '' by a jet, and to be honest am glad it never, while flying jets in BF2 could be real fun, getting your last flag at somewhere like, wake been raped was about as much fun as poking yourself in the eye.

There was also a decent amount of blood in the trailer too, whitch would be great if they leave that in the finished game, however, am very sure that won't be the case.

I also saw on a website '' something like gamestop '' ( maybe something eles ) that the game had already been pushed back to 31st april 2010.

I like the way it starts with a infantry guy and then works up the '' food chain '' .

Also it would be a right shame if only snipers can go prone, or if they get rid of it altogether

              Haha, same here.

It was a good trailer, but I'm happy I didn't stay up late for it.

Yes, ingame action would have been very nice but i think its a bit too much to ask for at this early stage, but there will be more trailers to come, and i really want to see ingame action in the next one if possible.

Also DICE , for the love of all things holy, please leave medics out of the game altogether, there is nothing worse than going on a '' RAMPAGE '' at the enemy's flag and killing 7 of them, only for 1 medic to come along while am taking their flag and revive them all , just great, now i have a total of 14 to kill if i want any chance of taking their flag / serviving.

I know people are going to disagree with me but i would rather wait 15 secs to re-spawn than have the battlefield filled to bursting point with medics and their noob G36E.

                RANT OVER.

More of a teaser than a trailer and like every teaser, does not make me any more interested.

'' Games for windows '' does not say console port to me, infact to anybody but yourslef.

I am soooooooo anti console port, but games for windows has nothing to do with ports.

Games for windows only says you can use a 360 controller, am not sure why anybody would use a controller on the PC to play a FPS if you have a perfectly good working k/m.

I would be only too happy to buy games for windows titels as they a tested and checked and tested again to make sure they are of the highest quality , and that they are compatable with 32 bit machines and 64 bit machines and also vista checked, only the very best well made games make it onto the games for windows list.

Bad Company is the console version of the BF series. Its a game that was designed for the console, but ported to PC.

You obviously dont get it, the video is the cycle of war, it begins the same it ends the same, you go watch it again.

And BC2 is still in the early stages for anyone to know its going to be ported.

Also why make the connection between '' games for windows '' and console ports ????

Wow and I thought the new trailer for Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare 2 sucked.
Nice job Dice keep up the good job of not listening to the fans.

Sad to say but Dragon Rising is looking like the only viable FPS shooter this year and it's a damn shame that I have to look for an alternative game to play because I am tired of waiting for new true PC Battlefield game.

It's been 7 years since Battlefield 1942 was released and in that time the typical hardcore PC Battlefield player probably spent approximately $259.55 on all the games\expansion packs\booster packs and that's not counting what we spend on pc upgrades to play the games. Now multiply that by say 2 million copies that were sold and Dice made $519,100,000 off of us in 7 years and this new Bad Company 2 trailer is what we get and have to look forward too.

                              Oh well

5 Battlefield games currently in development.

                                1. Heroes
                                2. Bad Company 2
                                3. Battlefield online (Korean Market only)
                                4. 1943
                                5. ??????? <---- what could this possibly be?
