That was much better than I expected, It did remind me of playing bf2 a lot to be honest, the hectic running and gunning, being shot by a helo that gets blown out the air a second later.

You obviously dont get it, the video is the cycle of war, it begins the same it ends the same, you go watch it again.

I don't need to watch it again, admit you were wrong, the first guy smoking is not the last guy smoking, you said, and i quote '' Dont know if you guys noticed but the last guy smoking is actually the first guy '' and its just not the same guy.

Also what does the guy smoking have to do with the cycle of war ????, war does not have a cycle, you live, you fight a war, and you die, or you live, you fight a war, and you live, that's all, no cycle.

I think it is hinting more at the gameplay style, also It cant be the first guy as he is dead :p.

That was just a tiny bit less interesting than I thought.

From the look of it though, DICE is trying to go with a more "serious" style for BC2. I do think we'll get at least 32 players for the PC, which is good enough for me

Games for windows only says you can use a 360 controller, am not sure why anybody would use a controller on the PC to play a FPS if you have a perfectly good working k/m.

I would be only too happy to buy games for windows titels as they a tested and checked and tested again to make sure they are of the highest quality , and that they are compatable with 32 bit machines and 64 bit machines and also vista checked, only the very best well made games make it onto the games for windows list.

if PC players dont use a 360 controller why bother to optimize a game for this DUMB controller for the PC????

THAT GAME did not do so well as to make the developer crytek jump WAY over from PC to consoles..
Frontlines fuel of war, Quake Wars, are some few more games branded games for window, as you claim, tested on windows...

I GO TO GAME-MONITOR.com and Hardly anyone is on these games..
HAWX is another peice of trash on the PC, another games for windows endorsed product.

SO SIR.. WHERE IS THE QA (Quality Assurance) you claim that microsoft checks to be the best games?
i have found that most of 'games for windows' is TRASH for the PC

From a recent blog by a Dice Dev, which has since been removed due to revealing too much info.

"Feeling like I should clarify something here. I’m not really saying anything new… Ben Cousins already said back last summer that 5 Battlefield titles were in development. Do the math on that, and you’ll see we’re talking about the same ones. Patrick Liu also mentioned this, calling it “big plans“."

We already know what numbers 1-4 four is, number five is the unknown, I personally suspect it to be BF3. I also have a hunch that Battlefield 3 will be announced when the Final Battlefield 2 patch is released.

I like the artistic style though, it was like CoD:WW's sp intros. Granted, we don't have an actual grasp of the game, but cool nonetheless.

Exactly, it gives nothing of the game, but it looks cool none the less. I did like the end message tho, it somehow gives me hope that this will make me proud to be a battlefield fan as was mentioned before, it 'seems' to be aimed at the hardcore fans.

The 5 BF games that you wanted the source from have been around here for months now.

Also MS can not make sure that a game stays popular, i never once claimed that , but they do make sure that the game is of the highest quality , all the games for windows games you list there are very high quality , you should really look into this a bit more, games for windows = high quality and no combatability isusses, does not mean the games are always going to be popular though.

Those vehicles are all in BC1 and the guys look the same (from what you can tell) And of course there are choppers are the same too. Did I miss something?

Dice Confirmed that they will have a "Proper Multiplayer Demo" At E3. Perhaps we'll be able to get our hands on it as well.

There was a blog from a Dice employee a few days ago hinting that BF3 is in development. Unfortunately it was removed because it revealed too much information.
