Ok I'll be honest - I'm really happy about this. Thanks DICE. If you make this game as good as we all know you can - i'll be tellin all my friends about it.

Please take note of the communities concerns and learn from how changes between 1942 and 2 were received by the community. We all loved BF2 - but I for one - want my arty back in my hands.

I am not sure about that, they said this winter or Q4 of this year.

You could be right. I thought that I saw the date had already been moved once though, and an online site listed Dec 31, 2009 for selling, so I could see it moved again to Spring 2010. EA is notorious for letting their dates slip. :|: But sooner is better...maybe they'll try to compete with MW2 during the Holiday shopping season leading up to Xmas.

sure lots'o'blood on the vid, i hope they make the game a little more bloody, i never liked shooting people and see dust coming from inside them.

Great thing about PC, we often get more options for blood and that sort of thing. :thumbsup: Considering just how much blood was in this trailer, it could indicate more will be in the game, too.

Finally, if this teaser means anything, console players may get a true battlefield game. I believe DICE is taking things in a more serious approach with bad company 2 then there was with bad company 1. For years PC fans have enjoyed 1942, battlefield 2 and battlefield 2142. Maybe and I say just maybe, Maybe battlefield bad company 2 is the game console players need. I do not care if they make it for PC first then port it to consoles. I have this feeling that this will be the battlefield game that regains the trust from the PC community, builds new bridges, and bonds with console players and makes new boundaries!

I cannot stress this enough, Finally if this teaser is anything what my heart is telling me, maybe we are going to get a true battlefield. I didnt see jets BUT it doesnt mean they arent there! I need more info and pics or videos. This teaser did its job. It has given me hope. Even though I was going to buy it anyway, I have high hope in this now. I just hope my gut feeling isnt wrong. All I wanted in this gaming hobby of mine is a battlefield game that was like the PC ones that came before it. Maybe this is FINALLY it!

True EA is, but DICE usually is right on time with GAME releases PATCHES, are a different story ;P

1) THE TWO THING IT NEEDS (espeically for PC) is 64 player support (100 would be nice) DO NOT DUMB IT DOWN to 32 LIKE QW:ET and CRYSIS

2) DO NOT BRAND THIS GAME "GAMES FOR WINDOWS"... i want to use any controller I WANT FOR THE PC...I DO NOT WANT THE PC VERSION TO BE CENTERED AROUND A FRAkin 360 controller...

thats it.. i like everything else.. modern combat.. frostbite engine..desctructible environments..

What I see from this teaser is that it looks like the bf2 intro, meaning the online gameplay will be better than the 1st bad company. Blood, everyone has wanted blood in for ever, I wonder if this will get rid of the hitreg problem? I saw the interview they did for BC2, but for some reason they took it off. It was about how BC2 is more military based but still has the personality of bc1. Hoping for the best!

**I forgot to mention that in the interview, the guy said they are using Frostbite 2.0 and the buildings will be able to be flattened or completely destroyed even the bigger building we will be able to destroy more of it. Also that the squad system will be better. I can't remember anymore of the interview. It will probably be up on monday again.

they should have added so that the helicopter got blown up by a plane and the plane got blown up by AA tank which whould THEN get blown up by the anti tank guy

I must of missed something, could of just been a trailer for the online part of BC1. Nothing stood out that I hadn't seen before.

The only thing I did laugh about was 'Specializing in online warfare since 1942', so why the hell is the online aspect of BC1 so glitchy? Having played it on XBOX360 I don't see why there seems to be so many bugs while playing online than I have ever seen in all the Battlefield series on PC combined! The scope going out of sync being one of the worst!

DICE stick with your roots, and ditch the console development. You're much better in the mouse/keyboard world.
